Other substances:

Stimulants, Tranquilisers, Prescription Drugs and Legal Highs

Different substances take a variety of time to detox from the body. How long and how often you have been using them will also affect your detox.

Stimulants such as Cocaine, Amphetamines etc will leave the body quicker but length of time before cravings start, is longer. Stimulants have a more psychological rather than physical one. Thus, many people do not feel they have a "problem" when they don't use it daily. This gives a false sense of security.

Tranquilisers are much more difficult to come off and can be more dangerous if not managed safely (it is a particular interest of mine). Again, detox will depend on how much and how long you have been taking them.

Prescription Drugs can be managed as illicit ones. The main problem is the easy access to them.

Legal Highs can be a bit more difficult as we do not know what the ingredients are and therefore must be individually tailored to each person.
